5 Reasons Why You Need A Personal Trainer

#1 Safety

So, number one, it’s going to be is for safety. For your safety, it’s important to have a personal trainer.

So, while you’re doing any type of exercise, if you’re new to training, even if you’re not new to training, you need someone who’s going to be able to be there to spot you.

You don’t want to drop the weight on yourself, you don’t want to do weight that’s too heavy and end up injuring yourself.

You need a personal trainer who’s going to watch and make sure that your form’s correct because no matter how long you’ve been training, you can start to have different training adaptations.

Which one muscle is stronger than the other, so your form starts to get off and you don’t realize that. But, if you have that trainer there, that’s going to keep you nice and safe.

And while you’re safe, it’s going to keep you healthy, which will allow you to keep training and stay on track with all of your goals.

#2 Accountability

Number two is going to be accountability. So, you’re going to need someone there that’s going to want to be there and make sure that you’re accountable for all of your goals.

Someone’s going to push you, someone, who’s going to make you want to come into the gym every day.

Someone who’s going to be your friend and who’s going to look out for you and make sure that you’re doing your best.

If you skip the gym on Tuesday at five o’clock when you’re supposed to be there, is anyone going to text you or call you and say, “Hey, where are you at? What’s going on today?” No. But, your trainer is going to help you stay accountable and stay you on track to meet all of your goals.

And that’s going to lead into number three…..

#3 Goal Setting

So, number three is going to be goal setting. With the goal setting, you need someone there that’s going to track what your goals are and make sure that those goals are actually achievable.

A lot of times people come out and they’re like, “I want to lose 25 pounds in a month.” Which realistically, that’s not an achievable goal. It would be great if you were able to, but that’s just not, that’s not an achievable goal.

But, the thing is with your trainer, they’re going to help you set goals that are achievable and when you reach those goals, they’re going to help you feel great.

Make sure that you’re writing those goals down. Your trainer is going to keep track of you and push you to the limit.

#4 Knowledge

Number four is going to be knowledge. The trainer is going to have a lot more knowledge, experience, and education than you.

So, whenever you’re in the gym and there’s an exercise or you have an injury or something’s bothering you, the trainer is going to be able to adapt that exercise and modify it to make sure that it’s not going to injure you, it’s not going to cause any problems or anything like that.

You want to make sure that you’re staying safe out there. So, that goes back up to point number one, that you want to stay safe while you are training.

So, it’s very important that you hire, that you have a trainer for that knowledge and education.

#5 Motivation

Number five is one that a lot of people forget about and that is that you need someone to push you.

You need someone who’s going to push you to the limit. Someone who is going to push you as hard as that you can be pushed.

A trainer is going to know based on your body composition, body fat, and age, which will be able to push you to your limit safely.

And then this is going to be able to give you time off that you need. So, for example, if you push it really hard one day, your trainer may say, “Hey, take it easy tomorrow, stretch, go for a quick walk. Make sure that lactic acid is not going to build up or anything.”

So, it’s very important that you have someone there to push you, but they’re also knowledgeable, so they’re not pushing you too hard, which would lead to an injury.

We don’t want anyone to get injured, because if you’re trying to go out there and you’re trying to meet your goals, you can’t really do that while have a broken ankle or strain one of your muscles.

So, you need someone who’s properly educated, but still able to push you to your limits so that you’re on track to achieve your goals.

There you go, everyone. There are five reasons why you need a personal trainer…
