Dr. Sharon
(Doctor of Physical Therapy,DPT, MTC, KTCP, TPI Certified, IMDN Certified)

Dr. Sharon is the lead Doctor of Physical Therapy at our Verandah location. Dr. Sharon is originally from southeast Florida.

She received her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida ( 1997) & her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Nova Southeastern University. She holds certifications as a certified manual physical therapist, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and is currently in the process of training to become a Certified Gray Method Practioner.

Dr. Sharon has always had a passion for sports and exercise. She grew up with a father who detailed Miami Dolphin’s games as a motorcycle cop, and a mother who was a pediatric nurse. She was destined to be an advocate of both fields. Her passion for physical therapy started at fifteen years old when her mother sustained a humeral neck fracture that changed her life. She helped her with the rehabilitation process.

Aside from clinical care, Dr. Sharon enjoys being a mother to her twenty-two-year-old daughter. She also enjoys maintaining her own fitness performance and shopping.

“Based on the many Physical Therapy sessions I have had over the past 25 years Dr. Sharon’s therapy treatments are by far the BEST!” – Steve Cohen | Patient Review
