Coach Sarah brings a unique combination of high-level athletic experience, education, and compassionate coaching to the Back in Motion team. As a former Division I athlete and experienced personal trainer, she’s passionate about helping people move better, build strength, and regain confidence—whether they’re returning from an injury, navigating physical limitations, or simply striving to live a healthier, more active life.
Having experienced the injury and recovery process herself, Sarah understands that every client’s journey is different. She believes successful coaching starts with listening, assessing individual needs, and creating personalized, research-backed programs that help people progress safely and confidently.
Sarah earned her degree in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University, where she competed in both volleyball and softball. She still holds Furman’s school record for Most Career Volleyball Matches Played, a testament to her dedication and resilience as an athlete.
Throughout her career, Sarah has taught physical education, coached high school athletics, and worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, holds specialist certifications in Senior Fitness and Youth Fitness, and is also a Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach.
Whether she’s helping someone return to exercise after an injury, improve their strength, or simply feel more confident in their body, Sarah’s goal is always the same: provide expert guidance, encouragement, and accountability in a supportive environment where every client feels successful.
Outside the gym, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, HIIT training, and reading.
If you’re looking for personal training in Fort Myers, Sarah and the Back in Motion coaching team create individualized programs designed to help you move better, get stronger, and achieve lasting results.
